Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer sues Burutai, wants him released

  

Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer has gone to court asking that Chief of Army Staff Tukur Buratai give details of where the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra is.
Ifeanyi Ejiofor’s motion filed before a federal high court in Abuja this Wednesday, is also asking that the proscription of the group by the court be called off.
Ejiofor alleges that the IPOB leader was last seen on September the 14th when soldiers invaded his residence at Afara-ukwu in Umuahia, Abia state.
The suit echoes the demand by Emmanuel, Kanu’s younger brother, that the army produce his sibling either dead or alive.
